Default Oil prices to rise

Oil prices are set to top $80 a barrel in the New Year, more on this here - BBC News - Oil price rise nears $80 a barrel

This has prompted fears of the price of fuel topping £1.25 a litre by the end of the year especially as further increases of duty coming in shortly as announced in the last budget.

As someone who drives around 200 miles per week in a sensible family saloon averaging around 35-38 to the gallon thats going to put my petrol bill up by £50 extra per month.

Then of course you have the knock on effect of food will increase due to the transport costs, so what will be the nett actual effect to my bills each month?

Am I alone in wondering if I have to choose between buying my children new clothes or fill the car with petrol?

What will your fuel bill increase by and what effect will this have on your business?

Default Where will it end...

£1.25 per litre!! Thats $2 for the US folk, now you can see why European cars have smaller engines!

Although my thirsty Nissan Patrol barely makes 30 miles to the gallon

Come on Electric Cars, where are you, give me a range of 400 miles, cruise at 70mph and be able to tow a 2 ton caravan and I'll buy one tomorrow!

Well gas is $2.89 a gallon here which is too much. Cant do the math for your litres, but I think its about 4 to 1 of our gallons! You guys really do have it rough
