Facebook help for my business

I do various social media stuff such as linked in, twitter, stumbleupon etc but I have never really got into using facebook to pull in traffic for my business. waht would people say are the best tips for making facebook work for your business?

I think you should approach for Facebook campaign.It is really helpful to generate traffic.I like Facebook on because of its popularity.

yes, I guess I need a facebook campaign. I know it sounds really silly but I am at a loss how to start. Like most I use Twitter a lot bu I have heard facebook can be very beneficial too, Is it just a case of setting up an account under the name of the business? And does anyone know of any useful apps that will get me noticed? Anyone tried facebook ads?

I am currently looking into this for a site I have - facebook would not let me sign up without giving my personal name etc and know I have people I sort of know wanting to be friends.

I only want it as a business advertising tool - how can I achieve this?

What I've done is set up a separate account for business, which then keeps personal and business contacts separate, and stops biz type posts going on your personal contacts walls.
