Default PayPoint AAAGGGGHHHHH!!!

I've just had the most frustrating chat with someone at Paypoint using their live chat. What a mare!

Firstly, can anyone see this god damn web page of theirs:

http://www.paypoint.net/services/pay...tual-terminal/

If so, please tell me what you think it costs for set up fee and monthly fee for a Virtual Terminal with a Mercahnt Account.

Well hopefully it is now resolved but it was bloody hard work!

Basically their 'old' website was offering a virtual terminal + merchant account for £75 set up and £15 a month (plus trans rates at 2.95%).

I then find a different 'new' website/page via a Google search (the one in the link above which I can still access and view) offering VT+MA at £75 set up and £10 a month (same trans rate).

So I live chat them to confirm which is correct, and what ensued was the most frustrating conversation. She also couldn't view the 'new' web page!!! She claimed the new website was under construction!! Clearly she hadn't cleared her cache and could not see what I could see and i'm presuming their new webiste is propagating as we speak.

Anyway the person I was dealing with on live chat finally admitted that the £10 a month was correct, that the new website offers new prices but there was a miscommunication or something at their end.

Honestly if you could read the conversation! I won't now divulge it since the matter is now resolved, but it's filed for future reference!!

Why do some businesses make it so hard to buy from them? Do they realise that for every saint with patience like mine, there are maybe 4 that would tell them to do one!

Depends on my mood lol - if im on one then i will wind them up & wrap them in knots until they concede - other times i will simply go to someone who will value my custom (hopefully anyway!)
