Default Screen recording software

Can anyone recommend a good screen recording software with voice that doesn't cost loads of money?

I am using CamStudio, it's Free.

It costs $299. You can try the 30-day trial with full features.
Personally I make desktop tutorial video once a week, not much often than those video experts. So I use another one called DemoCreator after Camtasia expired.

Everybody is recommending Camtasia, it is very expensive, £220.

On the never ending mac debate, you pay top dollar in other areas.

I appreciate you get what you pay for. But at the same time, DemoCreator doesn't look too bad for the money. I have been trying to compare the two. Another one I looked at was IgniteCast!

Any comments?

Yes I did. I have downloaded it and started using it. I like it. I think I will buy it after the 30 days.
