Interesting, went on Twitter to see if anyone else was reporting big G probs, saw a post, went to do a reply, but twitter hung as its stuck at the "transferring data from google" stage, so there is a google element on the page.
Noticed it on a few other sites, including this forum, adsense isn't displaying. But someone just down the road is accessing Google fine, so looks like its only affecting certain data centres... Being dependant on so many google apps and toys, could this be the day the internet broke??

Looks like it was a BT broad band issue, but only for certain areas. The UKSBD, a fellow biz directory just a few miles down the road in Shipston had exactly the same problem, so at least it wasn't just me!
Guessing it must have been somekind of BT DNS problem
