Charity and Police Magazine Advertising SCAMS - Govt

I had one of these calls to my mobile just before lunch today. Guy with a Scouse accent announced that he was calling from some police organization and started a spiel about cutting crime in the local area then, as I suspected he would, he started going on about their latest publication and advertising opportunities for local businesses. I've had loads of these calls before but he never gave me a chance to get a word in so I could say I wasn't interested, so I just ended the call. He immediately called me back so I pressed the busy button. A few minutes later I saw I had a message and it was him leaving a message which said 'there's no need to be rude you knobhead'. So yes I can concur, most if not all of these guys are pretty aggressive.
