Pointless posts, post counters and little Yoda's - expect to be deleted!

Seem to getting an influx of pointless posts, and single line "great info" "good info now buy my ipod"

Most seem to originate from Asia "I have to post on 50 forums a day otherwise I will starve"

I know it winds up the regulars, and glorified spam serves no purpose, so if you spot it before we do, tell us!

If you are a wannabe little spam peddling Yoda, clear off

These are more common than ugg boot spam these days. Over on the other forums I mod on I have just been deleting them and end up usually banning them if they either add a string of them or just keep coming back to post more of the same. It just wastes our time revisiting a thread thinking there is a useful contribution to read only to find a pile of mush.

Got to say though for entertainment value I do get a chuckle out of some of them!

Got 2 notifications via email last night (posts already deleted I think!) that tickled me and I quote.....

I have no idea where they are getting their English translation from but doubt its the Oxford English Dictionary!
