Can I be honest? Dont start a business! Its rarely a quick fix to riches Plus you will normally need some startup or seed capital for initial expenses and outlay.

Even a window cleaning round needs a bucket, sponges and a ladder, plus some book keeping software, flyers, phone etc...

If you have money worries, my advice would be go and see your local Citzens Advice.

Resist the temptation to borrow money through shady enterprises. either the bank or building society (IMO).

Setting up a business always has hidden costs unless you are a great forward planner!

If you are having financial difficulties now you will only add to the problem. I agree with all the comments above, sort yourself out first and then consider setting up your business.

Hi there, it seems to be not a good time to start a business in these days. Well, basically there are some business that could make tons of money like the late sir Onasis did. He did a business which was so demand in that time (it was a very bad economy day). But I think he didn't face the money problem as an aid for his business.

So, what are you doing now? If you are jobless I think the best way is to trade (forex). Many people did succeed. But the most important thing is you musn't be greedy and you have to be discipline. One of my friend, he used $14 as his capital did make $150 in 4 day. Well, it's my personal point of view.

I think Forex trading is very dangerous for someone not savvy in it, and prob not the best if someone has or is recovering from debt, but your right, people have made money from forex, but my cynical side says the real forex winners are the forex ebook expert peddlers that swamp clickbank and google

for info, hope posted a new thread here which says whats he's upto now.

I was speaking to an IFA yesterday who mentioned he was helping someone sort out his debts and got £150K written off as the loan and credit card was taken out before 2006 (I think he said) and there were loopholes in the contract agreements - not that I am saying that is your situation, but it is worth speaking to someone first. Personally I would recommend having about a years salary behind you to keep you going as you never know what household bills or extras that may crop. I had enough savings to keep me going for 18 months but they lasted about 9!

Regards,

Sandra
