Heard lots of good things about them, and had them on our shortlist when we updated our accounts package. Certainly good value, low monthly price which includes support and upgrades, as opposed to say upgrading Quickbooks, buying a license and support etc.

Only thing that put us off is it's online based, as opposed to having the database on a local server, but that's just us. Most small businesses won't have servers in the office, and they use the same hosting provider as us, Rackspace so they're going to be super secure.

Anyone else got any feedback?

As a bit of a thicko when it comes to accounts (although not as thick as some) I find it easy to use...

We have used KashFlow - it is very easy to use. Our accountants have the agreement with them so we use it for them to do our accounts at the end, but I would certainly consider it again.

Been using KashFlow for around a year now and I have found it to be very easy to use if a little fiddily at times. Reports are easy to pull off to stay on top of debtors, vat owed etc.

I decided to use Solar Accounting 2-3 years ago before I became a Kashflow forum mod but by then I was into my 2nd year of using Solar and was familair with the GUI, etc, and just didn't have time to learn a new one, but I was tempted and I would recommend it.

Plenty of support and very popular, with high level of commitment from Duane who is always making it better as each year passes.

I must say that there are times that the downside to Solar means its only on one PC, so an online solution is looking more attractive these days.

Kashflow is a very easy to use online based accounting system. Its really cost effective, easy to use and has a great support commitment in both their customer servicing and their forum that is always active. A limitation would be its lack of features for stock control and inventory management. For companies wanting an accounting software tool to virtually manage stock across multiple locations should not go for Kashflow. However, as I said, its a great overall product.

There are other very good accounting products on the market such as clearbooks, quickbooks, liquid accounts, solar etc which are all great products. It is important you understand what you want from your product before you buy as every product is slightly different. Its not a matter of what product is the best its a question of which product matches your business needs most effectively.

I've heard about positive reviews on Kashflow, I am eager to give it a try.
