Default Get the price right

Also some charge a lot more than others.

We used to pay £1,200 per year now I pay £600 and its a bigger business and I get better advice.

So it pays to shop around but I agree with the other comments about getting it sorted ASAP.

Yes, sort it out as soon as you can and get a few quotes since costs can vary a fair bit.

Hi Victor, many accountants offer a no obligation free first meeting. As such I would recommend that you talk to an accountant sooner rather than later, you may be surprised at how they could help.

You may have already done your research but I would also suggest getting some quotes, checking the accreditation of the potential accountants and doing this as soon as possible. You can check us out as well. Think about what you are looking for when it comes to an accountant.

Have a look at accounting-help website and others sites and decide what works best for your needs.

Good luck.

Default Interview them

I have had my fare share of bad accountants that it is really easy to notice once you find a good one.

I really advise you do what Azolla said and get some quotes, but take it a step further and interview them/meet with them. You don't want to have an accountant that you have a hard time talking to; finances are the life blood of your business and you need to have a good line of open communication with your accountant.

There are plenty of snake accountants out there just like any other field, so watch out. Also, look on Google Local and check reviews.

It is better to get a accountant in sooner before your paper work gets a little too big and harder to keep track on. But this depends on you and how well organised you currently are at keeping you documentation together.

We've attached a link on how to choose the right accountant and what to be cautious of when looking for an accountant.
