Can anyone recommend a straight forward to use accounts package that is suitable for a UK company and the UK taxman.

I'm quite happy with numbers, just things like eventually having to deal with VAT returns makes me a bit giddy, so the easier to use the better.

So far, Ive been told Sage is too complicated, but quickbooks is easier to understand.

Any good/bad experiences with quickbooks, or other alternatives?
